"People should not accept employees slandering their patrons in any way, shape, or form,"

Everyday I hear or read about horrible customer service and then no one wants to accept responsibility for their actions!

Example: "It's only words and it's from some kid, and that's one of the things the guy said to me on the phone. He said, 'You know, we employ 18- and 20-year-old kids.' I said, 'Sir, they're legally adults.'"

This is unacceptable and I agree with this woman that we need to speak out more and tell these companies we are not accepting this treatment.
(Our Family Bill Neser and his wonderful family!)

 Below is the story but first let me repeat my wish for the New Year-

Please be nice to some one for no reason at all. Learn to give instead of take. When someone in your life is helping make your life easier by doing the special and everyday little things for you learn to give back. Don't be self centered. Adopt an animal from a shelter instead of a breeder. Visit a nursing home. Call someone to say "How are you?" Love one another. Take a moment to say I love you! There is to much crime and problems in this world. Take just one day to change it.

Fla. woman offered year of free parking after insult written on valet ticket.

After a South Florida woman picked up her car from valet, something was left inside it – an insult written on the ticket.
"I was mortified," Sharyn Peoples said. "In handwriting it said 'play, red dress, and fat' on it."
Peoples was at Mizner Park in Boca Raton to act in a play earlier this month. She was wearing a red dress. But she said writing the word "fat" on her valet ticket crosses the line.
Peoples was so upset, she reached out to LAZ Parking of Florida.
"It's only words and it's from some kid, and that's one of the things the guy said to me on the phone. He said, 'You know, we employ 18- and 20-year-old kids.' I said, 'Sir, they're legally adults.'"
After their conversation on the phone, Peoples received an e-mail from Dan Silva of LAZ Parking of South Florida that started out with "Please accept our sincerest apologies." Part of it also said that moving forward "physical appearance will not be written on tickets" and that "this type of situation will never occur again."
In the e-mail written to Peoples, Silva also offered her free valet parking for next year and a gift card to a restaurant at Mizner Park.

"We deeply regret this incident and the company has apologized to the customer and the employee has been disciplined," said Luis Macedo, the general manager of LAZ Parking of Florida, in a statement on Friday. "LAZ Parking continues to be committed to providing the best customer experience possible."
Peoples said she is devastated by what happened, and doubts she is the first customer to fall victim to this kind of treatment. Now, she hopes whoever did it is fired and the insults are curbed.
"People should not accept employees slandering their patrons in any way, shape, or form," she said.
Peoples doesn't know which employee wrote the insult on her valet ticket, but she has a message for the writer.
"I feel bad for you that your parents obviously didn't raise you well enough, and I hope you understand this is not at all acceptable," she said.

Dreams for my 55th Birthday

Yes today I am 55 years old. Still not a bad age. I have manners, responsibilities, morals and values. I am compassionate and caring for my family, friends and animals. I try hard to live by the golden rule and I strive to give wonderful customer service to our family of customers. I believe in God and pray daily. I have old fashion views when it comes to how you should treat people.
So my wish today is the same wish I saw on a news site:

I'm declaring today a "no death" day, so please, no car crashes, shootings, stabbings, etc., ok? Be good out there today!

Please be nice to some one you love. Learn to give instead of take. When someone in your life is helping make your life easier by doing the special and everyday little things for you learn to give back. Don't be self centered. Adopt an animal from a shelter instead of a breeder. Visit a nursing home. Call someone to say Merry Christmas. Love one another. Take a moment to say I love you! There is to much crime and problems in this world. Take just one day to change it.

Emilie Parker A child taken from us in Ct shootings

From announcement made by Emilie's Parker Dad:
The father then began to tearfully speak of his blonde-haired, blue-eyed daughter. ‘My daughter Emilie would be one of the first ones giving her love and support to all of the victims, because that’s the kind of person she is,’ he said, pausing a moment to take a steadying breath. ‘As the deep pain begins to settle in our hearts, we find comfort in the incredible person Emilie was and how many people she was able to touch in her short time on Earth.’ Mr Parker spoke of Emilie’s incredible artistic talent, and how she could often be found carrying crayons, markers, and paper to make colorful cards for those having a dark day.  ‘Emilie’s card-making was especially beautiful this last October as she placed a card into the casket of her grandfather, who also recently died because of a tragic accident.’ He continued: ‘Emilie’s laughter was infectious, and everyone who met her would agree that the world was a better place because she was in it.

I am truly amazed at the people of Connecticut and they way they are reacting to this tragedy. Emilie's father speaks with compassion and love. Two other woman who during  their interview spoke of solutions for protecting their children and all our children in the schools. (Have a police officer in the schools) And the young man who was interviewed clearly in pain stating that Adam was a nice quite young man. My heart is with all of them and my soul is shinning with the out pour of compassion and love being expressed. No words of hate are being spoken. No words of revenge. But words of what God would have wanted us to express. Angels, love and forgiveness .

Jeanies and Ricks aka Earls Auto Christmas Party

Twas was the weeks Before Christmas-

1 'Twas the Weeks before Christmas, when all thro' Jeannies house,

 2 Not a Charlene was stirring, not even the Girls;

 3 The Santa Bags were Filled by  the tree with care,
4 In hopes that Earls Employees will love what's in there;
5 The Girls were nestled all snug in their beds,
6 While visions of Doggie Treats danc'd in their heads,
7 And Patty in her 'kerchief, and Robert in his cap,

 8 Had just settled their brains for a long winter's nap-
9 When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,

 10 I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
11 Away to the window I flew like a flash,
12 Tore open the shutters, and threw up the sash.
13 The moon on the breast of the new fallen snow,
14 Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below;
15 When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,

 16 But a minature wagon, and no rein-deer,

 17 With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
18 I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick.
19 More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
20 And he whistled, and shouted, and call'd them by name:

 21 "Now! Rick, now! Charlene, now! Robin, and Amy,

 22 "On! Elizabeth, on! Candy, on! Mellisa and Terry;

 23 "To the Church! to the Church!
24 "Now dash away! dash away! dash away all!"

 25 As dry leaves before the wild hurricane fly,
26 When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky;
27 So  to the Church the coursers they flew,
28 With the sleigh full of Gifts - and St. Nicholas too:

 29 And then in a twinkling, I heard on the roof
30 The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
31 As I drew in my head, and was turning around,
32 Down the pathway St. Nicholas came with a bound:
33 He was dress'd all in fur, from his head to his foot,
34 And his clothes were all tarnish'd with ashes and soot;
35 A bundle of gifts was flung on his back,
36 And he look'd like a peddler just opening his pack:
37 His eyes - how they twinkled! his dimples how merry,

 38 His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry;
39 His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
40 And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow;
41 The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,
42 And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath.
43 He had a broad face, and a little round belly
44 That shook when he laugh'd, like a bowl full of jelly:
45 He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,
46 And I laugh'd when I saw him in spite of myself;
47 A wink of his eye and a twist of his head
48 Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.
49 He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
50 And fill'd all the Santa Bags; then turn'd with a jerk,

 51 And laying his finger aside of his nose
52 And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose.
53 He sprung to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
54 And away they all flew, like the down of a thistle:
55 But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight-
56 Happy Christmas to Earls, and to all a good night.

Let there be Peace on Earth and Let it begin with me!

Two weeks ago we visited Busch Gardens Christmas town http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wRFNg-Eyt_0 and my favorite spot was in Italy with the display of Let there be Peace on Earth. Please share this with everyone as to me this is the miracle of Christmas!

Let there be peace on earth
And let it begin with me.
Let there be peace on earth
The peace that was meant to be.
With God as our father
Brothers all are we.
Let me walk with my brother
In perfect harmony.

Let peace begin with me
Let this be the moment now.
With every step i take
Let this be my solemn vow.
To take each moment
And live each moment
With peace eternally.
Let there be peace on earth,
And let it begin with me.

(child)
Let there be peace on earth
And let it begin with me.
Let there be peace on earth
The peace that was meant to be.
With god as our father
Brothers all are we.
Let me walk with my brother
In perfect harmony.

Let peace begin with me
Let this be the moment now.
